RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

RESERVATIONS

• Three night minimum stay required for all cabin rentals.

• Check-in is between 5pm and 7pm, Check-out is promptly at 9am. All guests must register at the Lodge before going to their cabin. We cannot accommodate requests for an early check-in, unless previously arranged.

• An extra persons fee will apply to any group exceeding the base rate. Base rate includes all guests ages 3+. Children under 3 stay free. This applies to both Cabin and Short Term RV reservations. Groups may not exceed maximum occupancy.

  • Cabin Extra Person Fee: $35/day, $175/week

  • RV Extra Person Fee: $10/day, $50/week

• All reservation holders must be 25 years of age or older.

PAYMENTS

• All reservations require a deposit.

  • Cabin Deposit Required: All 1 BR, 2 BR, and 3 BR cabins require a $200 deposit per cabin, per week. All 5 BR cabins require require a $400 deposit per cabin per week. Multi-unit reservations require separate deposits for each cabin/week reserved.

  • Deposits are due at time of reservation. Full, final payment is due at the end of each stay.

  • Short-Term RV Deposit Required: A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all reservations.

• Cash and check are preferred, but we also accept Visa and MasterCard as payment. A 4% surcharge will be applied to all credit & debit card purchases.

• All rates are subject to MN Sales Tax. All rates subject to change without notice.

• Guests are financially responsible for the entire length of your reserved stay. Guest are also financially responsible for any damage to cabins, boats or resort equipment.

Cancellation Policy

• Cabin deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled at least 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. A $50 rebooking fee is deducted on ALL reservation changes and cancellations. Any cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date will be responsible for 50% of total balance. Any cancellations made within 7 days of arrival date or “no shows” will be responsible for the full balance.

• Short-Term RV deposits are non-refundable.

• Seasonal RV deposits are non-refundable.

PET POLICY

Although we do accept dogs, we strongly encourage you to leave them at home. (Sorry no cats!)

If you bring a dog (maximum of 2 per cabin):

• Dogs must be cleaned up after.

• Dogs MUST be kept on a leash at all time.

• No dogs are allowed on our beach. There is a place near our gas dock that you may allow your dog to swim.

• Dogs must not be left unattended in your cabin, unless crated. Pets are not allowed on furniture or linens, and any damage by a pet to the property is the pet owner’s sole responsibility.

• Dogs must not disturb other guests. A per-companion pet fee will be applied to all reservations.

Cabin Pet Fee (per pet): $40/day, $200/week 
RV Pet Fee (per pet): $10/day, $50/week 
*ADA & ESA registered support animals with proper documentation, will be permitted without fee.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & POLICIES

CABINS & RV’S

• Guests shall leave the premises, unit, and furnishings in a clean and undamaged condition. We reserve the right to charge our guests for any repairs outside of routine maintenance, reasonable wear and tear, or for an unusual degree of cleaning.

• All cabins are non-smoking.

• Do not put any feminine products, diapers or paper towels in any toilet.

• Equipment Malfunction: Should our guests encounter any malfunctioning equipment, including; appliances, electronics, plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, or lighting, they should notify a staff member immediately. We will make every effort to remedy the issue and carry out reasonable repairs as quickly as possible.

• Good Neighbor Policy: Quiet hours are from 10pm - 6am. During these hours we just ask that you be respectful of your other resort neighbors. If you have any issues, please contact the Lodge at 218-246-8707.

• All RV guests must supply their own extension cords, adapters and hoses.

• We do not have shower or toilet facilities. We require all RV’s to be self contained. Tents, pop-ups and RV’s without bathroom facilities are not permitted.

MARINA

• Boat launch fee: $20

• Slips not included in reservation rates. Electricity is included in all slip dock rentals. All guests must provide their own extension cord and battery charger.

• Fuel not included in boat rental fees.

RESORT

• In order to protect our forests from invasive species, we do not allow guests to bring their own firewood. We have firewood available for sale on-site.

• Chippewa National Forest prohibits use of fireworks or explosives.

• All fishermen over the age of 16, both residents and non-residents, must have a valid Minnesota fishing license. While we do have the capability to print licensees in our lodge, we recommend purchasing your fishing license in advance online. For more information, please visit www.dnr.state.mn.us/

• Lake Winnibigoshish and its connected waters have slot and possession limits. Please familiarize yourself with all Minnesota fishing regulations before your stay with us. For more information, please visit www.dnr.state.mn.us/

• Personal flotation devices (PFD) are required by law, please bring your own. PFDs are included in all Bowen Lodge boat rentals.

• All reservations include free use of canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, paddleboats, and swim rafts, beach toys and furniture, fire circles, children’s playground, basketball and volleyball courts. Adult supervision is required at the beach, no lifeguard on duty.

Privacy policy

Protecting your private information is our priority. The statement of privacy applies to www.bowenlodge.com and Bowen Lodge and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this privacy policy unless otherwise noted all references to Bowen Lodge include www.bowenlodge.com. The Bowen Lodge website is an informational site. By using the Bowen Lodge website you consent to the data practices described in the statement.

Collection of your personal information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered on our site Bowen Lodge may collect personally identifiable information such as your: first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address, and/or phone number.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the site. These may include: (a)  registering for an account on our site; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contests sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selective third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on our site. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. Bowen Lodge collects and uses your personal information to operate its website and deliver the services you've requested. Bowen Lodge me also use your personal identifiable information to inform your other products or services available from Bowman Lodge and its affiliates.

Sharing information with third-parties
Bowen Lodge does not sell, rent or lease its customer list to third parties. Bowen Lodge may share data with trusted Partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Bowen Lodge, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Bowen Lodge may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Bowen Lodge or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Bowen Lodge; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Bowen Lodge, or the public.

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Bowen Lodge. Children Under Thirteen

From time to time, Bowen Lodge may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. Bowen Lodge reserves the right to change this privacy policy from time to time.
