Thanks to our unique location, Bowen Lodge offers guests a choice of two beach areas:
Our main beach is located in the protected water of Cutfoot Sioux and provides swimmers with a clean, sugar sand bottom. There's plenty of room for everyone; A place to tan, crystal clear water for swimming, kayaking, paddle boating and our RAVE Aqua Jump.
On Lake Winnibigoshish, a more secluded beach provides guests with the perfect spot to get some peace and quiet. While you're watching the lake, you'll spot bald eagles along with a variety of shore birds. Be sure to stick around for a stunning Minnesota sunset.

Welcoming Potluck
The Heig family has hosted this event for decades. On Monday night, bring your favorite dish to share and a heavy appetite. This is a wonderful time to meet your fellow guests and kick off a fun-filled week at Bowen Lodge.

Minnow Races and Ice Cream Social
